The Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery is the home of art on the Granite Belt. The gallery is open six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday. Here you can experience a range of quality exhibitions with both a national and a local focus. The gallery hosts a permanent collection of almost 900 pieces. This wonderful art space also holds regular curated exhibitions showcasing traditional and contemporary works of art.
The Gallery acquires their collection from the renowned biennial Stanthorpe Art Prize. Career artists, emerging artists, and local artists alike all highly regard the Stanthorpe Art Prize as a wonderful opportunity to have their art seen and it is an event that is widely attended. In addition, the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery hosts regular national touring exhibitions and involves itself heavily in the wider local arts community.
