“Don’t disturb me unless you’re a glass of Frosé!” On a warm summers day, nothing is quite so good and downright indulgent as a glass or two of a Frosé cocktail. Always on the lookout on how to make your life easier, The Localist has put together a Frosé cocktail recipe that’s simple and easy to make. You’ll be relaxing on your day bed in no time! Ingredients: 1 bottle Granite Belt Rosé – poured into a bag/container and frozen overnight 100g caster sugar 100g water 200g frozen strawberries or watermelon (no seeds) 1 lemon – juiced Tips: Check out some of our fave Granite Belt wineries for an awesome Rosé. This recipe has no ice to maximise the full Rosé flavour. Add some vodka or strawberry liqueur for a twist. Pre-blend and sieve your strawberries or melon for an extra smooth finish. Add a dash of grenadine for a more intense pink colour. Hint: For your emergency frosé rations – Keep some pre-prepared sugar syrup and frozen Rosé on hand and you’re a snap away from solving the problems of a hot summers day. Directions: Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil and cook for 2 mins. Remove from heat and cool. Add frozen rosé, frozen strawberries and lemon juice to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
